Equity and Inclusion Skills for Recruitment and Retention

To hire and maintain a diverse workforce, college campuses and organizations need equity and inclusion skills that help administrators increase the recruitment and retention of strong candidates that are African Heritage, Latino, Native American, Asian Heritage, Women, LGBTQ inclusive and People with Disabilities across generational lines.

In this hands-on 4 Day Leadership Practicum, NCBI will teach critical skills for increasing diversity in recruitment and retention:
 Identifying and working through unconscious bias
 Growing and supporting constituency based caucuses
 Teaching deliberative processes for leading meetings that include everyone’s voice
 Resolving intergroup conflicts
 Developing authentic leadership across group lines
 Noticing and intervening when oppressive comments are made
